All of these barebones come in different sizes, colours and flavours, but all of them have one similarity – The motherboard is all pre-fitted, so all you need is to install the CPU, RAM, Hard Drive, Optical Drive and Graphics Card. Typically this will make it cheaper than buying a chassis, PSU and motherboard.

Gigabyte Brix GB-BCXE-2955

This is one of the most popular small barebone systems we sell. This particular model is a 1.4Ghz embedded Intel Celeron CPU with integrated Intel HD graphics. It has a single mSATA and half-sized mini-PCIe slot internally for expansion. Plus up to 2x SODIMM RAM can be installed, a maximum of 16GB.

These are very popular for home theatres, home and office PC’s plus also very frequently used for digital signage, as they come included with a VESA mounting bracket, so can be easily installed behind a large format display for example.

Shuttle are the market leaders when it comes to barebones PCs. They have been around for a very long time, and I believe their first systems were P3 based machines. Their latest versions support Socket 2011 and 1150 Intel, as well as AMD systems. They have come a long way in the last few years, and are now considered a perfect barebones manufacturer for gamers and enthusiasts.
