Short Depth Chassis

The RS400-E8-PS2 is built to house 2 x Intel Xeon CPUs and16 x DIMM Slots, however, has an internal layout configured specifically to allow for optimized cooling.  On the whole, this server is designed for embedded applications, cache servers, telecom appliances and applications running visualizations

The main features of the RS400-E8-PS2:

Short Depth Design
This chassis is less than half the length of conventional Chassis, allowing it to be installed in places that others cannot, this is perfect when space is an issue.  Its compact design also allows for increased air-flow and increased density giving potential for an overall increase in computing power

Optimized Component Placement
The internal Layout of the RS400-E8-PS2 is arranged so as the CPUs and Memory Slots are in Parallel alignment with the rear of the PSUfans, allowing for more efficient cooling

2+1 Expansion
This is a High-Expandability Chassis with a configuration of 2+1 Expansion Slots.  1 x PCI-E Gen3x 16, 1 x PCI-E Gen3x 8 and 1 x PCI-E Gen3x 8 OCP Mezzanine Card.  This allows for future expansion in storage and networking.

Tool-Less Design
This Chassis allows for the addition of a Rail-Kit without the need for tools.  This makes for easy (instant) deployment for system administrators, especially alongside its diverse choice of operating system and drive placement/type (M2 Slot available)
